- 29/07/2026 -

Recently, VIJAKO completed a major milestone at the Sun Gallery Ha Long project, part of the Ha Long Ocean Park project, by handing over Phase I as committed to the Employer for its grand opening and official operation launch. This result stands as testament to the responsibility and determination of VIJAKO’s entire team, as well as the company’s organization and operation capabilities in its role as Design & Construction General Contractor. Throughout implementation, VIJAKO maintained strict control over every work item to meet all requirements on schedule, quality, occupational safety, hygiene, and environment.

Overview of Sun Gallery Ha Long Project

Sun Gallery Ha Long is recognized as one of the most highly complex projects constructed by VIJAKO. The project was carried out under a Fast-track model with a core construction time frame of just over 4 months. Within this exceptionally short period, the project required concurrent design and construction across multiple large-scale scope items, requesting significant resource mobilization, systematic and scientific coordination, construction organization, and strict quality control.

The project features a total gross floor area of nearly 15,000 m², comprising 01 basement level and 03 above-ground floors, with large atrium area and high ceiling. The project includes several specialized architectural and structural elements, such as: porous ceramic, complex steel structure systems and spiral staircases, high-span stone wall systems, and intricate MEP and Firefighting & Prevention systems. In addition, the finishing items were executed to 5-star luxury standards, demanding high precision, quality, sophistication, and aesthetic sophistication in every detail.

VIJAKO demonstrates general contractor capability through real results

In its role as Design & Construction General Contractor, VIJAKO fully mobilized its resources in terms of personnel, finances, and equipment to ensure meeting the handover milestone requested by the Employer.

Despite encountering numerous difficulties and problems during implementation – such as multiple design changes/adjustments, stringent safety and quality requirements, tight schedule, and extreme weather conditions – VIJAKO proactively collaborated closely with the Employer and Project Management Department to resolve arising issues promptly, overcome difficulties and obstacles, and ensure the overall project of the project.

During peak construction periods, the Site Management Board mobilized nearly 500 workers, operating overtime, multiple shifts and working round-the-clock to compensate for the schedule buffers impacted by objective factors such as design adjustments, slow arrival of imported materials, harsh weather, etc. Alongside operation management, the Company’s Executive Board regularly commended and rewarded outstanding teams and worker teams to ensure that the entire construction workforce maintains a high level of determination throughout the final stage.

Schedule achieves true significance only when aligned with quality and safety. VIJAKO proved its commitment to the Employer by placing safety and quality above all else, upholding the solgan: “Safety in Mind, Quality in Action”.

This success was achieved thanks to the strategic direction of the Board of Management, the dedicated efforts of VIJAKO’s entire staffs, as well as invaluable support from the Employer and Project Management Board, along with the close cooperation and compliance of subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams.

The completion of the priority schedule milestone is not only a key achievement for the Sun Gallery Ha Long project itself, but also further reinforces VIJAKO’s reputation and capability as a Design & Construction General Contractor for high-end, large-scale projects requiring high technical requirements and exceptionally tight schedule. This serves as a springboard for VIJAKO to continue conquering larger projects, contributing to the creation of high-quality, sustainable projects that bring long-term value to Employers and the community.
